The Hydra Queen and Bravo discuss their plan to exploit the 616-reality Hydra. Bravo also reaffirms his love for her despite his encounter with Sharon Carter in his dream. Captain America is pulled to the streets by the Ameridroid, screaming that Cap "stole everything" from him. Cap is concerned that the consciousness of the insane Nazi scientist Lyle Dekker is still buried inside the android. Sharon calls on Nick Fury for backup. He and Dugan are working over the Hydra agent Brently for information. While she's wrapping up her conversation with Nick, she is attacked by Baron Zemo. While the two spar, Cap continues his fight against Dekker. He wants to reason with him, but can't reach him, and when Cap bashes the droid's skull with his shield, the Ameridroid crumples to the ground and is down for the count. Zemo pushes Sharon out of the window, but Cap is quick enough to catch her, though Zemo makes a clean escape. Cap and Sharon join Nick Fury at Project Pegasus, where they study the body of the Ameridroid. Steve indicates that Dekker was more erratic than he expected, and also went down quicker than seemed possible. Meanwhile, an ambulance has pulled up outside the research lab. Inside is the Hydra Queen, Bravo and Jimmy, who is hooked up a dream machine. With a Hydra agent standing guard outside, Jimmy is used to power the Ameridroid. Once again, it leaps at Captain America, pushing it outside the skyscraper's window. The two begin to fall down towards the street until a portal to the Land of Nowhere opens up, swallowing both of them. They plunge into a lake and emerge on the shore. Lyle Dekker is now in his normal human form, and he leaps joyously onto the shore, declaring that Zemo was right, that he could once again have his youth and start a new life in this new world. But as Cap clambers ashore, Dekker is mercilessly shot dead by Bravo, who says "Nazis don't get a second chance." Cap throws his shield at Bravo, who easily grabs it in flight, then punches Cap unconscious, telling him this is "his world."
