Corona Motors threatens to sue Spidey if he doesn’t appear with the Spider-Mobile. He dives into the Hudson where he crashed it, discovering only the side-view mirror. Flash picks up Harry outside his psychotherapist’s office, where they meet Liz Allan, who asks Harry to take her for coffee. At May’s place, Doc Ock cleans up. Peter arrives and, when May leaves the room, Ock tells him how he survived the nuclear explosion. Before he can explain why he needs May’s help, she returns, followed by the “ghost” of Hammerhead. May faints and Octopus spirits her away. Spidey follows him to the Pan Am building where Ock commandeers a helicopter. Spidey snags the chopper with a web line. When Ock sees him, he snips the line, leaving Spider-Man a mile high and nothing to grab with his webbing.
