The Rocket Racer steals a suitcase full of bonds and securities, and gives Spider-Man a run for his money before Spidey yanks his skateboard away. Meanwhile, Liz Allan returns to her apartment to discover someone she is surprised to find alive. Peter meets Harry nearby and they discuss Pete being Harry’s best man when Liz blows right past, ignoring them. Peter tries to sell his Racer pictures to JJJ. When Marla Madison arrives, a lovestruck Jonah kicks Peter out. Liz calls Peter from jail, telling him she was caught stealing from her hospital. He visits but she refuses to explain. Spidey investigates her apartment, fi nding footprints burned into her fl oor, then heads to the hospital where the Molten Man is raiding the supply room. They fight but Molten Man escapes, leaving Spidey as a target for two armed guards.
