Spider-Man webs himself up in his fire-proof webbing and dives out of the burning oil, dousing the flame in the East River. White Dragon and the Dragons fl ee, leaving Philip behind, and regroup in their hideout, where the Dragons decide they don’t need the White Dragon as leader. White Dragon re-establishes control before discovering a spider-tracer on himself. He lures Spidey into a trap, but the wall-crawler webs the Chinatown streets, separating the Dragons from the White Dragon, whose gas he resists with nose fi lters. Spidey quickly knocks him into one of the webs, holding him like a fly.
In Hong Kong, Philip Chang is a gang leader. His enemies throw a grenade into his home, resulting in his parents’ deaths, making him vow to forsake violence. He travels to New York, where he lives with his Aunt & Uncle, working in their restaurant.
