At the Kingpin’s home, the police find the beaten Spider-Man and transport him to the hospital, where Dr. Winters prevents them from unmasking him, re-splints his arm and gives him a sedative. At the nursing home, Rinehart reveals himself as Mysterio and gets the drop on the Burglar. When Spidey regains consciousness, he heads to Restwell. When he arrives, he encounters various Mysterio-created illusions. At the Bugle, JJJ rants until collapsing with a nervous break-down. Marla calls for an ambulance. At Restwell, Spidey finally engages not one, but a dozen Mysterios until clubbed by the real one. He awakens strapped to the bottom of a swimming pool as the water is quickly rising.
