Punisher thinks Peter’s one of Jacobi’s men, but Peter informs him he has a deal with Spider-Man. Punisher accepts that and leaves. Peter returns to the Globe where he’s reassigned with April on the Jacobi story, but both decide they’d rather go their own way. April takes Lu Sing’s place as a runner for Jacobi, while Peter visits the Bugle. Robbie reveals he’s up to replace Jonah, causing a hidden JJJ to run out of the building and right into a wall. A man’s shadow looms over his unconscious body. Later, Spidey reconnects with Punisher and they take down one of Jacobi’s warehouses, where Spidey tags one hood with a spider-tracer. Meanwhile, Jacobi fi gures out that April is a spy, but before his men can kill her, Spidey crashes in. Punisher also arrives, but Spidey stops him from killing Jacobi. However, Jacobi flees into the path of one of his cars and dies. Punisher visits Mehemet’s grave before proceeding with his next mission.
