After Spider-Man thwarts a car chase, he fi nds the Black Cat trying to steal a statue from the Guggenheim. Spidey falls victim to her bad luck powers, but not before snagging the statue as she fl ees. The next day, as Cat re-plans her heist, Peter visits the Bugle to find the publisher job has turned Robbie as surly as Jonah. Peter leaves for a blind date set up by Flash, which turns out to be with Dawn Starr, a future student of Peter’s. Peter declines the date. Later Spidey ends up back to the museum where the Cat strikes again. Cat’s bad luck powers knock him out of the fight and she escapes. Meanwhile, Jonas Harrow fi nds Jonah with amnesia, from running into a brick wall. Elsewhere, Cat steals a ruby from an auction, citing one more prize she needs to claim.
