Then: Jennifer Takeda is a normal teenager until one day, while kissing her boyfriend Greg, Greg falls into a coma. She's checked out by doctors who determine she's emitting deadly substances from her body. She's recruited by HAMMER agents and Norman Osborn offers to help her, but instead she's put through painful tests by Baron Von Blitzschlag to make her powers even stronger. Now: While the Avengers Academy students train, Finesse finally kisses Reptil in front of the other students. Justice arrives to tell the students they'll be working with some guest instructors soon, and they'll also be taking a tour of the Raft so their first encounter with villains is in a controlled environment. While Iron Fist trains the students in martial arts, they discuss whether Norman Osborn will be at the Raft when they visit, and if he is, what should they do? Later, Valkyrie leads a "Superhuman Gender Roles" class for the girls, but Tigra stops the class when Valkyrie starts talking about sex. Off to the side Hazmat approaches Veil, and tells her some of the students are going to find Osborn in the Raft and make him turn them back to normal. Later, as the students prepare to leave for the Raft, Mettle volunteers to help Hazmat confront Osborn, and Speedball cuts himself to steady his nerves. When they arrive, Luke Cage greets them at the Raft and begins their tour. After Cage explains the Thunderbolts program which gives super-criminals a chance at redemption, the students meet the Ghost and Juggernaut while Moonstone ia asked to provide psychiatric observations on the students. Instead, Moonstone insults and baits Speedball, Wasp and the others, and implies the students are a lost cause before she is hauled away by Tigra for being uncooperative. As Reptil asks Juggernaut to say "Nothing can stop the Juggernaut," Hazmat uses her powers to turn off the lights by emitting an EMP. The instructors check on the students but Hazmat, Mettle and Veil have already left to meet Osborn. Hazmat surprises Veil and Mettle when she indicates she is here to kill Osborn, not bagain with him.
