But after the Thing went on a rampage as one of the Serpent's Worthy, smashing New York City alongside Sin's army of Blitzkrieg armor units, the Red Hulk went one-on-one against the Thing in a punishing battle. In the process, the Red Hulk sustained enormous injuries, while the Avengers Tower was actually brought down by Angrir, the "Worthy" Thing. Despite the building toppling down around him, the Red Hulk stayed in the game, continuing to fight Angrir until he was hit full force with his hammer and knocked far away.
