Captain America and the Falcon arrive back in Harlem and go their separate ways. Cap heads to the SHIELD barbershop in search of Sharon Carter, but Nick Fury tells Cap she’s out on assignment. When Cap falls asleep in Fury’s “slumber chair”, Fury uses the device to subliminally give Cap an assignment: investigate recent suspicious activity at Manning University. Upon awaking Cap goes to apply for the open Phys Ed position, only to arrive on campus in the midst of widespread unrest as students, led by dissident Mart Baker, protest the university policies. Steve’s interview for the job is interrupted when riots break out between the protestors and those who support the university administration. As Captain America he tries to break up the rioting, but two of the protesters are AIM agents who kidnap Prof. Fosgrave, attempting to gain access to his atomic equations. Mart Baker realizes he’s been duped into providing cover for their kidnapping and joins Cap in charging the AIM agents on a university rooftop, where Cap rescues the professor. Later, Captain America tells Fury that he just couldn’t cut it as a Phys Ed teacher.
