Just after Mary Jane walks in on Amy kissing Peter, Lance Bannon follows and Amy stalks off. Pete brings MJ up to speed. She returns his keys and leaves to meet some friends. Pete goes to ESU to ask Curt Connors’ help in analyzing metal from the Thinker’s android. While Spidey waits, Dr. Sloan arrives with a stack of exams. Spidey sneaks a peek at Peter’s exam, sees he got an “A”, kisses Sloan on the forehead, and excitedly somersaults around town. As Lance and Amy get back together, Spidey learns the Universal Liberation Army has taken hostages at Our Lady of Grace Chapel and quickly defeats the terrorists. He sells the photos to the Bugle and then visits Felicia Hardy at the hospital. After a thoughtful night, he goes to ESU and quits the graduate program. A Registrar employee hands him a letter approving his continued studies. Pete crumbles it up and throws it away.
