Spidey raids Santellio’s bookie joint looking for Hobgoblin info and learns the Rose’s men collect Hobgoblin’s take. MJ meets a pregnant Liz Osborn while watched by two men in a car. At the Baxter Building, the Symbiote tries to mentally infl uence Franklin Richards only to sense an uncontrollable force within the boy. At Osborn Corporation, Harry deduces that someone is buying up Osborn stock through dummy companies. Just then, the Hobgoblin attacks, demanding Norman’s journals but Spidey arrives and tackles him. At the Bugle, JJJ is already back from his honeymoon. As Hobgoblin flees the battle, Spidey attaches a webline to his glider and rides along until Hobby maneuvers him in front of a train, believing he’s killed him. As Liz and MJ leave the restaurant, the two men abduct them for the Hobgoblin. An arriving Harry fails to prevent it. As Harry grows more frantic, Spidey, still alive, wonders if the stress could turn his friend into the Green Goblin again.
