While Anna Watson and Aunt May discuss the idea of moving in together, Peter is out purchasing a motorcycle, using Jameson as a credit reference. Jameson visits with his astronaut son John, who was exposed to spores on a recent spacewalk. Elsewhere, the Rhino, a costumed villain, begins a rampage from the American southwest toward New York. Peter runs into Betty, but realizes he no longer has feelings for her and happily leaves her to Ned. The Rhino arrives in the city, breaks into John Jameson’s hotel suite and kidnaps him. Spider-Man tackles the Rhino and after a rough battle defeats him. Peter tries out his new motorcycle, encountering Harry, Gwen and Flash, then returns home to Aunt May, who has arranged a dinner for him with Mary Jane the following Sunday. She insists that he finally meet her.
