Peter sees Aunt May off on a vacation at Penn Station where Dr. Connors is waiting to meet his wife and son. Unfortunately, Connors has begun to transform into the Lizard again and flees onto the underground tracks to spare his family. Peter recognizes the Connors family and becomes Spider-Man to help them. He tours the station but finds no trace of the Lizard. Later, Peter visits Harry, Gwen and Flash at the Silver Spoon and Mary Jane drops in, meeting Peter’s friends for the first time. The Lizard commits a series of crimes that Jameson blames on Spider-Man. Spider-Man finds the Lizard and battles him on the side of a building, but he takes a bad fall and sprains his left arm, creating complications for his Peter Parker identity.
