His injured arm in a sling, Spider-Man still saves a truck driver from hijackers. The Lizard breaks into Dr. Connors’ lab trying to create a formula to raise a lizard army, but finds that he lacks Connors’ scientific know-how. Peter spends time with Harry and Flash and Harry suggests that Peter take a job at his father’s company. Spider-Man sets after the Lizard again and finds him entering a train car containing reptiles bound for a Philadelphia exhibition. The Lizard unleashes the reptiles but Spider-Man defeats them, then captures the Lizard by trapping the cold-blooded reptile in a refrigerator car. Webbing him up, Spider-Man brings him back to Connors’ apartment laboratory where he recreates the antidote that cures him. Peter returns home, still nursing his sore arm and broodingly awaiting Aunt May’s return even as the Connors family think that Spider-Man must have everything a man could wish for.
