Still nursing an injured arm, Spider-Man encounters the Shocker, a costumed criminal who uses powerful vibrations to break into a vault. The Shocker overpowers Spider-Man and escapes with his loot. Soon after, Peter encounters Harry who tells him his father has given him an apartment near ESU. He wants Peter as his roommate. Peter knows he will have to clear it with Aunt May. After Peter sells some photos to Jameson, Foswell dons his Patch identity and follows him, curious how Peter gets his photos of Spider-Man. Gloating over his robbery, the Shocker recalls how he was once a safe-cracker, who learned engineering and designed a shattering vibrational weapon in prison, later perfecting the weapon into a battlesuit. Aunt May returns from her vacation and tells Peter that she wants to move in with Anna Watson; Peter, explains his plan to move in with Harry. Later, switching to Spider-Man in an alley, Peter is observed by Patch. He quickly conceals his secret identity by using a web-filled dummy allowing Patch to think he has a deal with Spider-Man to take his picture. Spider-Man catches up to the Shocker and defeats him by webbing his thumbs away from his vibro-shock triggers. The next day, Peter packs up his belongings says goodbye to Aunt May and moves in with Harry.
