  • A new Black Panther has appeared, attacking white citizens. The news reporters call for the Avengers to bring the Black Panther to justice, but the Sons of the Serpent soon appear on the news proclaiming they have captured the Black Panther and will reveal his true identity in front of a live TV audience, so that the world will know he’s a black revolutionary seeking to bring down America. While Dan Dunn and Montague Hale continue to generate huge ratings, the Avengers track down the imposter Black Panther, but the villain escapes. The Supreme Serpent later begins his broadcast, and the Avengers track where the signal is coming from: an old abandoned television studio. The Avengers bust into the studio, with Monica Lynne following them, and manage to free the Panther. The heroes reveal the fake Black Panther to be a member of the Sons, and also unmask two different Supreme Serpents in front of the cameras: Dunn and Hale, who reveal they had no interest in racial politics, but merely wanted to use their talk shows to raise their own power.
