As the Avengers ponder their decision to pursue different missions, Goliath, the Vision, the Scarlet Witch, Red Wolf and Lobo jet to the Southwest, only to be shot out of the sky by an airship piloted by Cornelius Van Lunt’s robots. The Vision brings the airship down and finds that Wanda survived the crash. He surrenders to Van Lunt’s men and agrees to work for Van Lunt to protect the weakened Scarlet Witch. Goliath, Red Wolf and Lobo rally Red Wolf’s village to stand against Van Lunt. The Vision is forced to fight Goliath while Red Wolf and his people attack the dam Van Lunt built on their land. The Scarlet Witch helps destroy the dam and the rushing water sweeps Red Wolf, Lobo and Van Lunt away. Red Wolf survives and rejoins his people.
