As the Avengers subdue the three captured Skrulls, the Vision pursues and covertly boards the Skrull saucer carrying the Super-Skrull and the captive Captain Marvel, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. The saucer nears the Inhumans’ Great Refuge, Attilan, which the Super-Skrull intends to destroy; the Vision tries unsuccessfully to stop him opening fire, but Attilan is protected by a dome of black energy that suddenly appears. As the frustrated Super-Skrull decides he cannot waste further time, and must return home with his captives, Vision concludes that his opponent would easily destroy him if he turns solid to free the captives, and departs to inform the Avengers of his findings. Returning to the Skrull home planet, Super-Skrull is attacked by Emperor Dorrek’s soldiers, despite Princess Anelle’s pleas to halt the violence. After the Super-Skrull is subdued, Dorrek demands the secrets of the Kree’s Omni-Wave Projector from Captain Marvel and places Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch into a trap housing a Skrull behemoth and numerous flora/fauna creatures. Before they are overcome, Captain Marvel agrees to aid the Skrulls. Back on Earth, H. Warren Craddock tests his alien-detector on the Alaskan technicians, then moves to apprehend the Avengers for failing to appear before his Alien Activities Commission. Moments after the Vision returns to the mansion, Craddock sends in a trio of Mandroids. As they battle the Avengers, the Inhuman Triton arrives on the scene.
