Trapped in Earth’s orbit aboard the warehouse, the Avengers and Aries’ faction of Zodiac struggle to survive. Attempting to break through a force field, Thor throws Mjolnir, but when the hammer is trapped outside the warehouse, he reverts into Don Blake and hides behind a crate. The other Avengers protect Blake from the Zodiac faction, and convince them that everyone must work together. At that moment, at Zodiac headquarters, Taurus informs Gemini, Libra, Virgo and Capricorn of Aries’ betrayal. Later, when alone, Libra assaults Gemini and knocks him out, then revives Gemini’s twin brother, Damian Link. Libra instructs Damian to impersonate Gemini and keep Taurus occupied while he pilots the Star-Slayer. Meanwhile, in the warehouse, Iron Man pierces the force field, and he attempts to steer the warehouse into Earth’s atmosphere using Mjolnir. He is unable to control the hammer though, and its mystical weight forces re-entry too quickly, burning the warehouse. Its descent is halted when Libra, piloting the Star-Slayer, encloses the warehouse in a secondary force field. Back at the Mansion, Mantis awakens from her trance and, sensing Vision is in trouble, she leaves to go to his aid. Knowing she hasn’t fully recovered, Swordsman tries to stop her, but he collapses, still too weak from his injuries. At Zodiac headquarters, Taurus sees through Damian’s ruse and knocks out the fake Gemini. Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn search for Libra and reach the roof just as the Star-Slayer arrives with Libra, the Avengers and Aries’ faction. Taurus appeals to Aries to combine their forces, and Aries responds by attacking the Avengers, but despite this treachery the Avengers swiftly overpower the Zodiac. Vision’s solar blast knocks Taurus into a swimming pool. Unable to swim, he pleads for Vision to save him, but Vision freezes, unwilling to enter the water for reasons he cannot explain. Mantis arrives and leaps into the pool, saving Taurus. With Zodiac captured, Thor insists that Libra explain his actions; Libra responds that he is Mantis’ father!
