Yellowjacket collapses in the street and grows to enormous size. Seeking a cure, Beast raids his former lab at the Brand Corporation and takes an anti-mutation serum he devised. He returns to find Thor with Vision and Scarlet Witch, newly returned from their honeymoon. After hours of lab work, Beast alters the serum into a cure for Yellowjacket, and Vision releases the formula into Pym’s bloodstream by entering intangibly into his teammate’s body. The serum works and Yellowjacket returns to normal size. Wasp recovers from her coma and the Avengers rejoice. In Latveria, Iron Man and Moondragon witness the return of Dr. Doom’s time machine and see traces of blood on its deck.
Mr. Grant fires Beast from the Brand Corporation.
Vision and Scarlet Witch return to active duty. This story involves a role reversal from Av #93, ’71, in which Henry Pym gives medical aid to Vision by journeying inside his body. Beast recites a line by the White Rabbit from movie “Alice in Wonderland.” Gaspar Saladino’s lettering on p1 is uncredited.
