After placing Hawkeye’s leg in a cast, the Avengers hold a meeting, inducting Eros as an Avenger-in-training and giving him the codename Starfox. Wasp sends the new recruit along with Thor and Captain Marvel to aid the US Navy in tracking the submarine behind the attack on the President. Meanwhile, Jan and Captain America hunt for Tony Stark, while She-Hulk returns Hawkeye to his apartment. Jan and Cap are stunned to fi nd Tony drunk in one of his luxury high-rises, with someone else now wearing the Iron Man armor. Tony rebuffs their attempts to help, ordering them to leave. Moments after the Avengers reach the US Navy flagship, Plantman triggers an attack by giant kelp plants from his hidden submersible. Destroying the monstrosities, the heroes turn their attention to the submarine, and as they smash their way in, Plantman pulls an emergency handle that the Wizard left for him, launching him in an escape pod into orbit, but Captain Marvel follows and captures him. Back in New York, Jan joins She-Hulk in a search for an apartment for She-Hulk to move into, but their shopping is interrupted as they encounter an invisible barrier that neither can break through…
