Having assumed command of the remaining Avengers, the Vision holds a press conference to try and assuage people’s fears in the wake of so many of Earth’s heroes disappearing. To maintain a visible presence in the world’s eye, Starfox stops a bank robbery and the Scarlet Witch helps firefighters put out a blaze. Shortly after the press conference ends, Henry Gyrich and Ray Sikorski arrive to hold a security conference with the Vision. Meanwhile, on Attilan, Quicksilver and Crystal discuss hiring a nanny who could raise their human child Luna in the Inhuman society. Back on Earth, the strange energy spikes return, and the Avengers again race back to Central Park to fi nd the missing heroes returned. The entire team reunites back at Avengers Mansion for a conference, during which the Wasp steps down as leader and submits a motion to have the Vision be the new team leader. Upon being elected, the Vision appoints Thor and She-Hulk as “detached” members, then explains he has gotten permission from Gyrich and Sikorski to start up a new branch of the Avengers on the west coast, appointing Hawkeye to lead this new team. He then warns the remaining Avengers of their next mission: the investigation of an alien invasion...
