Pulling a Mechanisaurus Rex from a future war-torn time-line, Kang Nebula sends it to menace present day Washington DC; receiving a vision from Nebula warning him Thor cannot be trusted, Druid sends the thunder god alone to fi ght the robotic dinosaur. When Thor calls the other Avengers for help, Dr. Druid telepathically restrains She-Hulk, but Black Knight escapes. Meanwhile, Kang Fred warns the Council of Kross-Time Kangs he has learned Nebula is consorting with the Avengers. Chairman Kang reveals Nebula is seeking a powerful weapon located in the newest Kang’s home time-line and a search of her quarters reveals she’s been stealing technology from the other Kangs. Back on Earth, Black Knight arrives in Washington, and helps Thor defeat Rex. Chairman Kang also refers to the Council as the “Kross-Time Kang Korps.” The Dinodroids resemble the Transformers’ “Dinobots,” and Thor notes there is “more to this creature than meets the eye” about the Mechanisaurus Rex, a nod to the Transformers’ catch phrase. The letters page contains a LoC from comics publisher Charles S. Novinskie. Despite Chairman Kang’s assertions, Kang Fred’s native timeline (Earth-6311/Other-Earth) is not the Avengers’ one (Earth-616), as the two Earth’s diverged prior to the Dark Ages.
