After rescuing someone from a random assault in the park, Quicksilver heads to the Transian district where he finds Ampere being attacked as well. Before Pietro can help, Ampere turns his powers on his assailants, inadvertently temporarily blinding Quicksilver. After his vision returns, Quicksilver inquires inside a local bar about Ampere, only to be met with violence. He bests the patrons and continues his search, but they follow him. Ampere and his siblings come to Pietro’s rescue, and Wanda leads him inside an abandoned opera house. There, Pavane reveals himself and his intentions to get revenge on Quicksilver and level the neighborhood. Instead, the opera house is set on fire and Brawler frees Quicksilver so he can extinguish the flames. Ampere is hurt by falling debris, and Quicksilver rushes him to a hospital. Later, as Pavane stands by his ailing child’s bedside, Pietro chastises him for spreading his own hatred into his children.
