At the Bugle, Jameson agrees to pay Electro fi ve thousand dollars to unmask Spidey on live TV. Meanwhile, Gwen follows Peter, telling him she cares only for him. Peter decides to tell her he’s Spider-Man but can’t do it. TV day arrives. Jameson arranges tickets for he, Stacy, and Robbie. His costume still dirty, Peter washes it at a Laundromat, a paper bag over his head. Soon after Spidey arrives on set, Electro attacks and the audience panics, all clearing out except JJJ and friends.
