Hammerhead and his men crash into the Westchester estate as Ock, in his office, shoots back at them with lasers. Terrified, May rushes off to call the police as Spidey recovers. As the two gangs shoot up the house, Spidey searches for May. Hammerhead confronts Ock who manages to escape and calms May in her room even as he surreptitiously clips the phone wire with his tentacles. Gwen looks for Peter at the Bugle and Ned tells her about the lead he gave him. Spidey encounters Hammerhead who head-butts him in the stomach, causing his ulcer to flare up. Hammerhead escapes, his car leaving even as Robbie, Ned, and Gwen arrive. Finding May and Ock, Spidey attacks his enemy. May picks up a gun and fi res wildly, missing Spidey who dives out a window. As police arrive and take Ock away, Peter goes to greet May, who tells him she is staying on as Ock’s housekeeper. On an airplane, Hammerhead vows to return when Ock gets out of jail.
