Peter holds the ceiling up long enough for everyone to escape. Interviewed outside, Raleigh claims the mob has targeted him. Later, the Disruptor rages over Spider-Man’s interference, then heads to his basement lab where Dr. Thaxton has modifi ed the Smasher to respond to a hand-held control. Across town, JJJ enthusiastically endorses Raleigh but Robbie is suspicious. Spidey stops a penthouse Raleigh function robbery, then calls Aunt May at Doc Ock’s estate. Harry and Peter meet MJ and Gwen at a Raleigh Youth rally. After Raleigh departs, a car scatters the crowd, spraying tear gas. The Disruptor and his men emerge. Spidey disarms the Disruptor but he escapes. JJJ interviews Raleigh, telling him Robbie is gathering background material on him. Later the Disruptor activates the Smasher and orders him to capture Robbie, dead or alive.

Raleigh revealed as Disruptor in ASM #118, ’73. Jameson home is townhouse instead of penthouse here.
