Peter meets Liz Allan, who’s helping him apartment hunt. He signs a lease for a rundown Chelsea apartment, all he can afford, then visits the Daily Bugle where he’s back at work since his blow-up at Jonah. Suddenly, the Grizzly bursts into the newsroom and throws JJJ out a window. Spidey saves him, then tackles the Grizzly but can’t match his strength. Feigning unconsciousness, Spidey tags the Grizzly with a spider-tracer that leads him to a Washington Square townhouse. He investigates as Peter, but is ambushed and knocked out by the Grizzly’s associate: the Jackal!
