Peter visits May as she’s transferred from the hospital to a nursing home. When Dr. Tompkins suggests that Peter is relieved to be rid of her, he lifts Tompkins by the neck, then, controlling himself, drops Tompkins, and runs off. Robbie tells Jonah that whoever kidnapped John has it in for him and Spider-Man. Jonah seeks comfort from Marla, while Spidey stops a holdup. Later, JJJ confronts DA Tower about progress on John’s kidnapping. Not satisfi ed with the answers, he offers a million dollar reward. An unidentifi ed scientist gives an energizer treatment to a completely bandaged fi gure and instructs him to destroy JJJ and Spidey. Betty shows up at Peter’s and starts to kiss him, much to Peter’s surprise. The bandaged fi gure attacks Jonah. Spidey intervenes but is knocked out. The fi gure grabs Jonah, his bandages coming off to reveal, not John, but Man Wolf underneath.
