Peter rushes to the nursing home, fi nding Dr. Rinehart, who shows him May’s body. Peter tells Rinehart to handle the details and wanders the streets. JJJ gets news that Spider-Man ignored a mugging and plans a banner headline, which causes Robbie to quit. At ESU Peter sees Flash, Harry, Sha Shan and tells them about Aunt May, then heads to Dr. Sloan’s office and tells Deb Whitman. Back at the nursing home he takes a grieving Anna Watson home, and meets up with Robbie who tries to comfort him. He goes to May’s house, finding it trashed. Suddenly remembering whom Dr. Rinehart is, Spidey heads toward the nursing home, but is abducted by Bruno and Boris who bring him to their new boss, the Kingpin.
