  • Thor gives a stirring speech to the masses of ogres, elves and monsters, even Fafnir, who have joined him to battle Hela. Steve Rogers and Mageth bid their farewells before Steve heads off into battle, sharing a passionate kiss as Thor and Tony look on smiling. Soon, Hela's forces are upon them. Thor grabs a battle axe and takes her on directly while Steve and Iron Man join the ground forces in a huge melee. Hela's Twlight Sword brings Thor down to earth and she unleashes her hordes upon him. He powers through the crowd and leaps toward her, but she impales him with her sword and tosses him aside. Enchantress knocks her back with an energy blast and tends to Thor's body, healing him, then teleports them away. She apologizes for how she last treated him, tells him the source of Hela's vast new power is the Twilight Sword, helps him reclaim his hammer, and encourages him to defeat Hela or else she and everyone else will be doomed to death. Thor is back in action with his hammer, and with the aid of the Enchantress' spells and Fafnir's flame, Hela is defeated. Now that Thor wields the Twilight Sword, he can reshape all of the Nine Worlds to his liking, but he returns everything to the way it was before Hela got possession of it, even leaving Asgard on Earth since he feels he should not use the sword's reality-altering power for his own gain. Enchantress and Thor part amicably, and before Steve can kiss Mageth, the heroes have all been teleported away via a spell from the Enchantress. They appear in Asgard right in front of their teammates and friends who are all happy to see them. Thor gives Heimdall the sword for safekeeping. Tony and Steve finally reconcile after their long estrangement, and the three of them walk outside together, Thor with his arms around his two friends.
