Disguised as Scarlet Witch, the android Ultrana tells the Avengers and Black Widow that Quicksilver has been captured by a flying saucer in Transia. The heroes fly to the rescue, and Ultrana leads them into an underground complex where they encounter Ixar, an intelligent alien computer, and its captives, Quicksilver and the real Scarlet Witch. Ultrana reveals her true form and dispatches an army of fellow androids called Ultroids against them. Ixar seeks to capture the Avengers and transfer their powers to the Ultroids. The androids defeat all but Captain America and Black Widow, who finally fall victim to the Ultroids’ ray-pistols.
