Captain America retires to the hotel he’s currently staying in but has a nightmare about Sharon Carter being in danger. Meanwhile, a group of spies are aware that Agent 13 is on to their spy ring and implement plans to have her killed. Unable to sleep, Captain America vacates the hotel as Steve Rogers. He’s attacked by Scorpion, who is testing his combat suit on a civilian before taking a hit job on Sharon Carter; Steve is stunned. The villain flees approaching police, allowing Steve to don his costume. Cap soon finds the Scorpion driving off and follows in a taxi. Scorpion arrives near the spy ring’s house to begin tracking down Agent 13, but Sharon has unexpectedly been captured by the spies. Captain America tells the taxi driver to contact SHIELD and battles Scorpion. Defeating Scorpion, Cap then locates the spy ring’s house, defeats the villains, but fails to discover Sharon tied up in the basement. Sharon finally frees herself, only to find she just missed Captain America, who’s heading back to the city in the taxi.
