While searching the streets of Harlem, Cap overhears a radio newscast that the police have cordoned off a building where the Falcon is trapped. Investigating, Cap sees Redwing overhead and slips unnoticed into a building in an area surrounded by police, locating the injured Falcon. Sam tells Cap that a Diamond Heads gang member was killed and he’s been framed for it. Donning Cap’s costume, Sam deceives the police and escapes the dragnet. Meanwhile, Diamond Head sends his gang out to collect protection money from shop owners, assuring them that the Maggia will not interfere. While patrolling past a warehouse Cap sees Rocky the Lynx, a Maggia lieutenant, parked nearby. Just as Cap recognizes a Diamond Head thug standing guard outside the warehouse, other gang members attack him. They take the fight into the warehouse where more gang members shoot at Cap. The Falcon arrives, and together they defeat the gang and unmask Diamond Head, finding Rocky the Lynx under the mask. Rocky reveals that the Maggia was trying to take over Harlem by fomenting racial hatred. His name cleared, the Falcon announces he is staying in Harlem, where he is needed.
