Peter heads to the Dean’s offi ce where he gets lectured about his studies slipping. In another part of the administration building, the Chairman of the Biochemistry Department reprimands. Dr. Kissick. Back in his office, Kissick finds Ramrod, who wants him to mix something potent for him. Soon after, Spidey spots Ramrod and the two scuffl e until Ramrod tosses a statue at some students and escapes. Back at their apartment building, Lonesome Pinky invites Pete to his gig at Micky’s bar in Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Ramrod collects Kissick’s concoction, which will drive people into a frenzy within minutes. He intends to use it at Micky’s bar, as revenge for Micky crossing him. That night, with Pete, Deb, and Biff in attendance, Ramrod arranges free beer, doused with Kissick’s formula. Everyone fl ips out except Pete, who is not drinking. However, when Lonesome Pincus starts to play, they all quiet down. Spidey hustles across town to Kissick who informs him the antidote is in his lab. Spidey rushes back to the bar, and fi ghts Ramrod, using a construction site’s magnetic crane to immobilize him. Just as Pinky’s voice gives out and the crowd begins to stir, Spidey administers the antidote. The crowd disperses and Pinky, left alone, tries to decide if this has been the best night of his life or the worst.
