Spidey foils a fur heist. As he swings past Willoughby’s, the camera store is robbed by Speed Demon, who manages to evade Spidey by tossing him into a bakery shop. At the Bugle, JJJ berates Lance Bannon for not getting a good Speed Demon photo, but Jonah buys one from Pete that shows Speed Demon escaping Spidey. Later that day, Peter is in Bloomingdale’s when Speed Demon runs wild through the store, stealing items and terrorizing the customers. Spidey throws him off by pouring grease on the fl oor, blinding him with perfume, and then trapping him on the escalator with his webbing. Pete tries to sell a new picture of a triumphant Spidey to JJJ, but his angry boss rebuffs him.
