A blizzard hits New York. Ambassador Askwith arrives in town with his family and a group of kidnappers immediately snatches his daughter. Spidey lands on their van and it crashes amidst the snow in Central Park. Spidey, concussed, takes the girl to hide in Bethesda Terrace. She tells the dazed web-slinger not to fall asleep in the snow because the Wendigo, an American Indian ice spirit, may get him. The kidnappers, minus their wounded driver, arrive but the weakened Spidey defeats them. As they pass the van, the driver attempts to shoot them but is apparently consumed by the storm’s Wendigo. Spidey returns the girl to her parents. The police find the kidnappers but the driver has disappeared. The storm and the Wendigo move out to sea.
