The Green Goblin has a plan whereby he’ll learn Spider-Man’s secret identity and reveal it to the world. As he initiates it, Peter Parker, feeling ill, visits Dr. Bromwell who diagnoses a cold, then tells him any sudden shocks could kill his Aunt May. At ESU, Harry tells Pete about problems with his dad and the two begin to bond. Later on a skyscraper rooftop Spider-Man battles thugs hired by the Goblin to douse him with a spider-sense-dampening gas. Not alerted to the Goblin’s presence, Spider-Man becomes Peter, visits the Bugle and heads home with the Goblin watching. The Goblin attacks in the Parker’s Forest Hills front lawn. Fearing Aunt May will see the battle, Peter retaliates carelessly and the Goblin defeats him, then takes him to his hideout where he reveals his own identity: Norman Osborn!
