With Captain America, Iron Man, Quicksilver and Thor held captive, the Zodiac launches a full-scale attack on Manhattan and holds the island hostage for a billion dollars. A force field keeps Peter Parker, the Fantastic Four, Goliath, the Scarlet Witch and the Vision from entering the city. The Black Panther and Daredevil team up and storm Zodiac’s headquarters, but Aries forces them to retreat. Zodiac takes the captive Avengers to Madison Square Garden for a public execution, but Matt Murdock frees the heroes. As the Avengers and Daredevil fight Zodiac’s army, Aries flees but Thor destroys his aircraft. The Avengers discuss the fact that their three separate missions all were related.
