Vision drops the Serpent Crown into the Pacific Ocean. Atlantean soldiers capture him and take him to their leader, Attuma, who plans to use the Avengers to attack the Sub-Mariner. Returning to Manhattan, the Avengers admit Whizzer to a hospital and Wonder Man stays with him, while the Avengers ponder the unanswered questions surrounding Wonder Man’s recent revival. Impersonating the Inhuman Triton, Attuma’s spy Tyrak arrives at Avengers Mansion to gather more Avengers for Attuma, but Scarlet Witch sees through his disguise and fights him. The other Avengers join the battle, but Tyrak subdues Captain America, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Yellowjacket and Wasp and forces Beast to retreat.
