The Avengers return the comatose Vision to Avengers Mansion, where Wanda watches over him in the medical center through the night. Meanwhile Hawkeye, his leg still in plaster, captures some burglars at CTE and meets Sheila Danning, the company’s head of PR. The next morning Wasp convinces Wanda to leave Vision’s side long enough to take breakfast. Captain Marvel soon joins them and gets Wanda to relax by asking Wanda about her history. After she reveals that Magneto is her father, the other Avengers swear to help her should he ever pose a threat again. Later, the Scarlet Witch returns to her New Jersey home to gather some supplies, only to be confronted by Dr. Strange’s astral projection...
A pregnant Magda arrives at Wundagore Mountain. Bova delivers her children Wanda and Pietro. Magda flees Wundagore. Bova takes the children to the High Evolutionary, who in turn gives the children to Django and Marya Maximoff (Av #187, ’79 fb). Wanda and Pietro enjoy playing as gypsy children, and revel in their young mutant powers. When Django steals a cow, the local villagers massacre the gypsy camp, the only survivors being Wanda and Pietro. Villagers attack the twins, accusing them of witchcraft, but Magneto saves them (fb4, also in Av #47, ’67 fb). They join Magneto in fi ghting the X-Men (X #4, ’64). The Stranger captures Magneto (X #11, ’65). The two siblings join the Avengers (Av #16, ’65), and battle Dr. Doom (Av #25, ’66). Quicksilver disapproves of Wanda’s feelings for the Vision. Agatha Harkness trains Wanda on how to use her powers (Av #128, ’74). The Vision and Wanda marry (GSAv #4, ’75). Django appears at the Avengers Mansion (Av #181, ’79). Chthon possesses Wanda (Av #187, ’79). Vision and Wanda retire and move into a private New Jersey residence (VSW #1, ’82). Vision’s arm is melted (VSW #2, ’82). They visit the Inhumans, who repair Vision’s arm, and meet their newborn niece, Luna, daughter of Quicksilver and Crystal, but are confronted by Magneto, who reveals he is Wanda and Pietro’s real father (VSW #4, ’82). Magneto leaves when his children spurn his attempts at reconciliation.
