The Avengers return from California in the Quinjets, with Jan stopping to drop off Hank in Indiana along the way. She arrives back at the mansion to fi nd a party underway, in celebration of Hawkeye’s recent marriage to Mockingbird. Adding to the good news, Vision reveals his android body is now repaired The festivities are soon ended though when Vision declares that he’s been monitoring strange energy surges, and that he feels they are a threat that he and Wanda must stay on active duty to confront. The Wasp calls Captain America and Thor into a private conference to discuss the Vision’s warning and the lineup of the team roster. Their discussion ends prematurely when the Vision sounds the alarm; the energy surges have returned, and are now manifesting in Central Park. The Avengers enter the park to find a strange dome structure. When some of the Avengers enter the structure, they vanish, along with the structure itself, leaving the remaining Avengers stunned.
