Black Knight returns to Avengers Mansion and is ambushed by Mr. Hyde. After a faked summons brings Captain Marvel to the mansion, Blackout uses the Darkforce to banish her to another dimension. Captain America and Wasp deduce that their headquarters has been compromised, and Wasp conducts a quick reconnaissance, finding the captive Jarvis and Black Knight inside and learning that the Masters of Evil have set a trap for Hercules. Cap and Wasp intercept the inebriated Hercules, who has been drugged by one of Baron Zemo’s accomplices, but the headstrong Olympian disobeys orders and storms the mansion, tipping the heroes’ hand. Cap falls victim to new weapons that Fixer installed on the property, but Wasp escapes before Blackout envelops the mansion with impenetrable Darkforce. The Wrecking Crew, Goliath and Mr. Hyde beat Hercules nearly to death and eject his body from the Darkforce enclosure.
