After subduing looters at Avengers Mansion with Captain America, Wasp visits the hospitalized Hercules and Jarvis and feels pressured by the Avengers’ administrative affairs. No longer needed by the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk volunteers to rejoin the Avengers. On Hydrobase, Dr. Druid and the recuperating Black Knight encounter Tyrak, who is searching for Namor. Captain Marvel arrives and downs the Atlantean, but he revives and resumes his attack after She-Hulk and Wasp join their teammates. Black Knight slashes Tyrak’s water containment reservoir, She-Hulk delivers the final blow and the Avengers imprison Tyrak. At the Avengers’ next meeting, Wasp nominates Dr. Druid for membership, resigns as chairman and takes a leave of absence.
Wasp, who wears a new blue and yellow costume, resigns as chairman and leaves the Avengers. Captain America becomes acting chairman, She-Hulk rejoins the team and Hercules’ condition places him in inactive status. Thor wears an armor of his own making, first introduced in Thor #378, ’87.
