  • Awakening in a gem-like prison, the Wasp frees herself and fi nds an ally in Zeus’ wife Hera. Meanwhile, several Avengers and their Olympian allies lie fallen after Zeus’ attack on the Hall of Apollo, but Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, Sub-Mariner and Thor still battle Zeus and his subjects Ares, Artemis and Dionysus. As the Black Knight revives, super-swift Hermes reluctantly spirits the injured Captain America, Dr. Druid and Hercules away from the combat at the request of Prometheus, who works to heal the heroes in a remote cavern. They are soon joined by Wasp and Hera, who convinces Hermes to lend his wand to Prometheus in the latter’s efforts to heal Hercules. Back at the battle, Captain Marvel electrocutes Artemis into unconsciousness, Sub-Mariner defeats Ares, and She-Hulk hammers Dionysus into the ground as the Avengers’ fallen Olympian allies revive. Meanwhile, an injured Thor battles the seemingly all-powerful Zeus. When Thor fi nally falls, Captain Marvel hits Zeus with her full electrical power. The explosion temporarily blinds everyone in Olympus, including Prometheus, interrupting his healing ritual long enough for Hercules to awaken in a state of violent paranoia. Hurt by Marvel’s blast but undeterred, Zeus easily overpowers Sub-Mariner and She-Hulk as the Black Knight looks on. Back at the cavern, the insane Hercules has struck down Prometheus, Hermes and Hera, and recognizes his fellow Avengers only as enemies who must die.

Artemis captures Wasp in the Caribbean.
