Dr. Druid is haunted by a strange dream of a beautiful woman, warning him of impending doom. The other Avengers clean up battle debris from the island, welcome a recovered Jarvis back, and receive an invitation to a high society party in New York City that evening. At the party, Marrina begins to act strangely, eating live fi sh from the aquarium. She begins to transform into a monster, diving into the ocean nearby, with Namor in pursuit. Meanwhile, Kang is attacked after returning to his laboratory to scheme against Immortus; he slays the assassin, who proves to be a child dressed as Kang, before being teleported away by a woman also garbed as Kang. Back on Earth, after several days searching for Namor and Marrina, the Avengers investigate reports of a Leviathan attacking ships and islands in the Atlantic Ocean. When Captain Marvel discovers the creature, the Avengers race to confront the monster, only to fi nd Namor on the scene, defending it from their attack. To the Avengers’ horror, Namor reveals the Leviathan is a transformed Marrina!
