Peter Parker works for famous electronics expert Professor Cobbwell over the weekend. Cobbwell asks Peter to pick up his radio at the Tinkerer Repair Shop, which only charges a dime for repairs. At Cobbwell's lab, Peter notices that the radio triggers his spider-sense. He opens the back and finds tubes unlike anything he has seen. Returning to the shop as Spider-Man, he discovers a gang of green, scaly aliens spying on military and scientific leaders through spy devices in their radios. Spider-Man breaks up the racket and finds the Tinkerer's human mask in his hands implying he was an alien too.
