After three days of raids throughout the world, the Brethren encounter Black Widow, Captain America, Hercules, Rage, Sersi and Vision in Paris. Thane Ector trashes Cap and disappears with the rest of the Brethren and the captive Sersi. In the Blue Area of the Moon, scientists Beast, Black Panther and Dr. Pym try to revive the comatose Collector hoping he has information that will help them defeat the Brethren, but it is Quasar who ultimately wakes him. His mind muddled, the Collector helps the four Avengers locate the vivarium receptacle in which he kept the Brethren aboard his ship. Pym shrinks the Collector and his teammates, who enter the ecosystem only to discover that the Elder mistakenly selected the wrong specimen, one populated with hungry alien arthropods.
